Joseph R. Muratore, CCIM
Joe is a Principal and Co-Founder at Graceada Partners. He bears overall responsibility for the Investment Operations and Property Management Divisions. These combined platforms currently hold nearly half a billion dollars in assets under management.
Joe bought his first rental property shortly after graduating from college and was hooked. After working for several years at a regional commercial real estate investment firm, Joe co-founded NAI Benchmark (now Graceada Partners) in 2009. He and his business partner began actively syndicating and investing in commercial real estate a few years later, acquiring more than $40 million worth of office, retail, industrial and multi-family assets—most of which are still held. In 2019, they created Graceada Partners Fund I. That fund has now closed and is currently in the process of purchasing an additional $35 million worth of commercial property that fits the Fund’s strategy.
Joe sees a steady, long-term, growth trend for California’s Central Valley and is a leader in creating a positive future for the region. Joe served a four-year term on the Modesto City Council and has twice served as the President of the California State University, Stanislaus, College of Business Administration Advisory Board. He also taught at the College for three years as an Adjunct Lecturer in Marketing. Joe is a current member of the Sacramento Chapter of EO (Entrepreneurs Organization), the City of Modesto Downtown Improvement District, and the Modesto Rotary Club.
Joe holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) real estate designation along with a Graduate Certificate in Management–with a Finance Concentration–from Harvard University, Extension School and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from California State University, Stanislaus.
Joe was born and raised in Modesto and lives there currently with his wife and two children.
