Jim McFaddin
As Chief Operating Officer of Graceada Partners, Jim McFaddin oversees property management, construction, insurance programs, ESG initiatives, and the firm’s day-to-day operations. With more than three decades of industry experience, he applies both technical knowledge and strategic leadership to support the firm’s continued growth. His responsibilities include directing major capital improvement and construction projects, managing insurance programs, strengthening safety protocols, and advancing ESG efforts, including carbon-reduction strategies across the portfolio.
With more than 30 years in property management and construction, Jim has held senior leadership roles where he directed large teams and oversaw significant real estate portfolios. Before joining Graceada Partners, he held senior leadership roles for two decades at Ardenbrook Real Estate Investment Trust and Bright Development. In those roles, he directed operations for more than 250 employees and managed portfolios exceeding $5 billion in value, including over 3,000 multifamily units alongside substantial commercial and residential holdings.
Jim holds California State Contractor licenses in Engineering, Landscaping, and HVAC, as well as a California Department of Real Estate license and an EPA universal designation. He is also the holder of a U.S. patent for a scientific instrument used by the FAA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and the U.S. military.
Away from the office, Jim and his wife embrace the outdoors, whether camping, fishing, or traveling, often with their four grandchildren in tow.
