Matt Yelland

As Graceada Partners’ Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer, Matt Yelland is responsible for the firm's financial & compliance functions, including fund & property accounting, audit, treasury, compliance, and corporate finance. Matt is a thoughtful and humble leader who brings significant practical and industry knowledge to the team.

Prior to joining Graceada Partners, Matt was Vice President of Finance for John Hancock’s Farmland Services division, where he oversaw a $3 billion pension-backed portfolio invested in United States agriculture across 19 states. Matt has over 20 years of accounting and finance experience, having held various CFO, Controller, and other senior financial roles at companies such as Bright Development and Pulte Homes.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

I enjoy spending my off time with family, friends and working with community organizations such as my local lions club where I currently hold the responsibility of club treasurer.  I also enjoy working on my family farming operation and I take pride keeping an immaculate yard.
